Continental Alarm Limited is a Nigeria based Electronic Surveillance and Alarms Systems Services Company. We are resellers of  Security Surveillance Systems offered by RSI Videofied (winner of New Security Product Award 2009 among other awards).

The company began operations in 2011 and is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria (CAC) to carry on business as provider, distributor, and supplier of security, heat, fire, pressure and smoke detector alarms, advanced warning systems, maintain and provide round the clock surveillance camera via video recording and retrieval systems to organizations and homes, provide online viewing services for mounted security cameras, off-site video recording services, and facilitate emergency response.

We have our systems deployed indoors and outdoors, in remote and urban areas using either our wired and/or wireless solutions across different sectors.

Continental Alarm Limited (CAL) is at the forefront of Nigeria’s use of telemetry to fight vandalism and crime.

Board of Directors


Mr Okwy Okeke
Okwy is the founding Chief Executive Officer of Continental Alarm Limited. Prior to founding Continental Alarm Limited, Okwy worked as a consultant with Ernst and Young LLP Business Advisory Services – BAS, in Chicago. Okwy worked on a variety of projects including the optimization of the operations of Kyeth Technologies, a leading provider of electronic security and surveillance in the Chicagoland area.

Prior to joining Ernst & Young, Okwy worked as the senior financial analyst of Capital One Financial Services’ Production Services Unit, a $300 million group within the COF family. He also worked as a commercial banker with Citibank Nigeria before leaving Nigeria for the United States in 2003.

Okwy holds a B.Sc. In Economics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and an MBA from University of Northern Iowa. He has received several award for outstanding work and scholarship including a commendation letter for repositioning the state of Illinois Department of Correction IDOC from Governor Pat Quinn in May 2010. He is a member of the Association for Accountants and Financial Professionals in Business IMA.


Muhtar Bakare
Muhtar joined the board of Continental Alarm in July 2014.
He started his career at Citibank Nigeria where he rose to the post of Assistant General Manager in charge of the highly successful commercial banking unit after 10 years during which period he managed Trade Services.
Muhtar branched into newspaper editing in 2008 on leaving banking as an executive director at Trust Bank of Africa. He edited Next newspapers for about a year after which he left to concentrate on running Kachifo Limited, a publishing company he founded to give budding writers an avenue in a predominantly foreign firm dominated sector. Kachifo has recorded many successes including publishing the critically acclaimed Half of a Yellow Sun novel by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and also making it into a movie. He is presently the Managing Director of Pearson Nigeria.
Muhatr holds a M.Sc in Architecture from Obafemi Awolowo University.

Our mission is to serve as a catalyst for better security in Nigeria by utilizing technology in combating the upsurge in crime including unauthorised intrusion, robbery, carjacking, oil bunkering, diesel theft, arson, sabotage, oil spill, criminal vandalism, etc.
