Continental Alarm Limited is a Nigeria based Electronic Surveillance and Alarms Systems Services Company. We are resellers of  Security Surveillance Systems offered by RSI Videofied (winner of New Security Product Award 2009 among other awards).

The company began operations in 2011 and is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria (CAC) to carry on business as provider, distributor, and supplier of security, heat, fire, pressure and smoke detector alarms, advanced warning systems, maintain and provide round the clock surveillance camera via video recording and retrieval systems to organizations and homes, provide online viewing services for mounted security cameras, off-site video recording services, and facilitate emergency response.

We have our systems deployed indoors and outdoors, in remote and urban areas using either our wired and/or wireless solutions across different sectors.

Continental Alarm Limited (CAL) is at the forefront of Nigeria’s use of telemetry to fight vandalism and crime.

Board of Directors


Mr Okwy Okeke
Okwy is the founding Chief Executive Officer of Continental Alarm Limited. Prior to founding Continental Alarm Limited, Okwy worked as a consultant with Ernst and Young LLP Business Advisory Services – BAS, in Chicago. Okwy worked on a variety of projects including the optimization of the operations of Kyeth Technologies, a leading provider of electronic security and surveillance in the Chicagoland area.

Prior to joining Ernst & Young, Okwy worked as the senior financial analyst of Capital One Financial Services’ Production Services Unit, a $300 million group within the COF family. He also worked as a commercial banker with Citibank Nigeria before leaving Nigeria for the United States in 2003.

Okwy holds a B.Sc. In Economics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and an MBA from University of Northern Iowa. He has received several award for outstanding work and scholarship including a commendation letter for repositioning the state of Illinois Department of Correction IDOC from Governor Pat Quinn in May 2010. He is a member of the Association for Accountants and Financial Professionals in Business IMA.


Engr Obi T Nwasike
Obi joined the Oil and Gas industry as a trainee Mechanical Engineer in Shell Petroleum Lagos Engineering and has over 30 years experience in process and project Management of oil and gas field engineering facilities and system. His Twenty two year career at Shell was populated with the responsibility of creating new ways of working in delivering front end engineering designs, quality control methodology, and cost estimating methods.
Obi left Shell to setup Chester Mead Associates Limited, a 100% Nigeria owned company that handles engineering design and project management for both domestic clients and International firms in Nigeria and overseas. He was also Vice President Energy & Power Division, Global Energy Company Limited, Senior Project Manager FODE U.K. Ltd among others.
Obi had his first degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Wales, Swansea where he graduated with a First Class B.Sc. Honours Degree and earned a British Institute of Mechanical Engineering prize for best graduating student. M.S Degree from California Institute Of Technology, Pasadena in Environmental Engineering Science. He is a member of Nigerian Society Of
Engineers, Society Of Petroleum Engineers and The Project Management Institute.

Yomi Jemibewon
Yomi is a non executive director of Continental Alarm Limited.

Yomi is one of the founding partners of CardinalStone, a registered investment banking company in Nigeria. Prior to joining CardinalStone, he served as Vice President – Financial Advisory in Avante Capital, where he played a central role in business advisory and capital raising activities for various projects in the Nigerian energy sector.
Prior to joining Avante, Yomi worked as a consultant at the New York offices of Bain & Company. At Bain, Yomi worked primarily on executing strategic due diligence and developing post-acquisition growth strategy and turn-around initiatives for various private equity and corporate engagements. Yomi began his professional career as a systems engineer at the Boynton Beach, Florida offices of Motorola Incorporated.
Yomi holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from
VirginiaTech and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is married with a child, enjoys travelling, watching television and playing competitive sports.


Muhtar Bakare
Muhtar joined the board of Continental Alarm in July 2014.
He started his career at Citibank Nigeria where he rose to the post of Assistant General Manager in charge of the highly successful commercial banking unit after 10 years during which period he managed Trade Services.
Muhtar branched into newspaper editing in 2008 on leaving banking as an executive director at Trust Bank of Africa. He edited Next newspapers for about a year after which he left to concentrate on running Kachifo Limited, a publishing company he founded to give budding writers an avenue in a predominantly foreign firm dominated sector. Kachifo has recorded many successes including publishing the critically acclaimed Half of a Yellow Sun novel by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and also making it into a movie. He is presently the Managing Director of Pearson Nigeria.
Muhatr holds a M.Sc in Architecture from Obafemi Awolowo University.

Mr Chuma Maduekwe
Chuma is a non-executive director of Continental Alarm Limited.
He is the managing director of SDEM Erectors Nigeria Ltd. Prior to becoming the MD of SDEM, he started his career at Arthur Andersen Lagos now KPMG Professional Service in Nigeria. He left Andersen as a senior audit consultant and joined the pioneer private equity firm in Nigeria, Capital Alliance Nigeria as a Senior Investment Associate.

Chuma left Capital Alliance to form a private Equity Advisor Firm, FC & H Consultants from where he took up appointment with Global Energy Company GEC to head its Investment Division as Head Non-Traditional Business Unit. The unit spear headed the acquisition of 90% Equity Stake in SDEM Erectors Nigeria Ltd, Which led to his appointment as Managing Director of SDEM Erectors Nigeria Ltd.
He holds a B.Sc. In Banking and Finance from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and is a Fellow FCA of the Institute Of Chartered
Accountants Of Nigeria ICAN. He is an Alumnus of Chief Executive Programs CEP17 at the Lagos Business School Of Pan African University, and also attended an Advanced Management Program at the IESE Business School in Barcelona


Femi Ogunjimi
Femi is a non executive director of Continental Alarm Limited.
He is the Chief Executive Officer of CardinalStone Partners, a registered investment banking company in Nigeria. Prior to founding CardinalStone Partners, he served as Vice President – Investment Banking Division, Goldman Sachs New York. At Goldman, Femi worked on a variety of transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, equity and debt financing in a wide array of sectors.
Before joining Goldman Sachs, Femi served as a Senior Associate with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Nigeria where he started his professional career. At PricewaterhouseCoopers, Femi worked in the firm’s Audit and Business Assurance, Corporate Finance and Tax Advisory Divisions.
Femi holds a B.Sc. in Accounting from the University of Lagos, and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. Femi has written and published two books of fiction, enjoys travelling and outdoor activities.

Our Mission

Our mission is to serve as a catalyst for better security in Nigeria by utilizing technology in combating the upsurge in crime including unauthorised intrusion, robbery, carjacking, oil bunkering, diesel theft, arson, sabotage, oil spill, criminal vandalism, etc.
